The Opportunity
Adobe is looking for an outstanding finance leader to provide financial and business partner support for the Digital Media Creative Cloud B2B business. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance, this role will serve as a strategic and operating business partner to Product Marketing Management leaders. You will support FP&A processes through analysis and modeling to provide recommendations to senior management, driving strategic decision making.
What you'll Do
- Influence and align with cross-functional teams to drive short-term and long-term financial planning for the product offerings.
- Drive deep business performance analytics and surface relevant insights. Help the business execute on growth initiatives and ensure the execution against the operating plan. Provide financial modeling, analysis and recommendations to drive the business forward.
- Demonstrate analytical capabilities and your outstanding understanding of the business to recommend strategic investment decisions, build efficient planning/reporting processes and identify continuous opportunities to improve the operating cadence.
- Lead periodic business reviews. Providing key insights to cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance leadership) will be critical to be successful in this role.
- Apply best-practice analytics in areas like Market TAM, customer lifecycle, buying behavior, retention analytics, and competitive analysis to drive data-based decision making.
- Drive quarter-end reporting packages in preparation for Earnings announcements.
What you need to succeed
- MBA or Advanced Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- 6 - 8 years of relevant finance experience. Previous experience in creating financial models for a subscription/SaaS business is a plus. Management consulting or investment banking is a plus.
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, and experience in SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Hadoop, and/or Databricks is preferred. Focus on building scalable analytics & reporting.
- Self-starter who can handle sophisticated tasks with minimal direction and develop new strategies and ways of approaching business challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence/drive decision-making across cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including the ability to handle several projects at a time in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem solver who can challenge the status quo and drive new ways of thinking across the organization.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $121,700 -- $228,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
