About the Role:
Our Demand Generation Marketing Team is seeking an Automation Specialist and Marketo expert to play an active role in supporting our demand generation campaigns to achieve our marketing funnel, sales pipeline goals, and customer communication efforts. Working collaboratively with members of Marketing, Sales, and Business Operations, you will execute cross-channel marketing automation and reporting to support lead generation, pipeline conversation and pipeline coverage, and customer communication. The ideal candidate is someone who not only craves data—but knows how to make it actionable; who enjoys identifying roadblocks to efficiencies and replacing them with automation; has a driving curiosity to discover what works, why, and an unrelenting desire to improve results and efficiencies. This position will report to the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for ensuring processes and programs are being executed with fidelity, lead goals are being met, and the quality of leads being delivered are in line with company KPIs.
What You'll Be Doing:
Work with members of Marketing, Sales, and Business Operations to execute cross-channel marketing automation and reporting to support lead generation, the marketing funnel and the sales pipeline
Work with Product, Product Marketing, Client Success, and Client Experience to set up and deploy customer and user communication
Work with the marketing team and inside sales team to build, execute, analyze, and optimize campaigns to provide sales teams with a high volume of quality leads and to help drive leads through the marketing funnel and into the sales pipeline
Support ongoing operational troubleshooting for platform sync and lead data details
Support execution of Marketo system audit including automation and scoring rules, attribution configuration, database clean up, email deliverability, and Marketo Sales Insight
Develop and implement processes for ongoing operational excellence
Measure & monitor lead funnel performance and drive & execute process and technology changes, including lead qualification criteria/ scoring and data cleaning programs, to improve campaign performance and funnel conversion
Provide ongoing optimization recommendations to support development of unified Marketing Reporting Dashboard utilizing both Marketo and Salesforce data to enable greater reporting and analysis of marketing efforts
Manage the customer and prospect database to segmentation of contacts and analysis to recommend the right targets for the right message; ensure rhythm of communication is appropriate and opt-out rates stay within industry standards
Work with Digital Marketing Manager and others on marketing team on PPC, retargeting, and optimizing landing pages and forms to get the best result from every prospect engagement with DreamBox
Utilize snipits and tokens to create personalized campaigns within Marketo
Develop and document reliable and scalable marketing automation processes and best practices, and act as a guardian of customer data and privacy
About You:
Minimum 3+ years marketing and sales automation experience in Marketo and Salesforce
You naturally seek out every opportunity to learn about the latest tools, techniques, and trends to make you and your team better
You love digging into data - analyzing performance metrics for email marketing, lead scoring and lead management
You are comfortable with technology tools and will use them to manage our marketing (prospecting) database, segmentation and tracking
Experience working with HTML, setting up and versioning email and landing page design and layouts in Marketo
You are at your best under pressure of multiple deadlines and competing projects
Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
This role is Bellevue, WA, or Remote based
Specific Marketo knowledge in the following areas:
Experience managing lead objects and custom lead objects in Marketo
Salesforce integration experience, specifically managing integration sync between Salesforce and Marketo including knowledge of API limits
Experience executing advanced automation logic, including use of triggers, filters, tokens, and wait steps to ensure effective and accurate attribution across all lifecycle stages
Experience managing ongoing database cleanliness and normalization with proven impact metrics
Experience working with third party vendors like Ringlead & MCH to clean, protect, and enhance data; Experience working with Lead to Account matching for revenue projections a plus
Advanced measurement and reporting experience supporting Marketing funnel projections and ongoing optimizations towards KPIs, with demonstrated proven impact metrics from prior roles
Experience working with metrics such as revenue and lead volume projections by stage, contribution to pipeline, MAL to MQL to SQL rate, campaign and channel influence on lead scoring and deal flow acceleration
Advanced attribution model experience including multi-touch attribution to enable greater evaluation and understanding of impact of all channels and campaigns (not just first and last touch)
Experience with ongoing Lead Scoring evaluation & refinement against business impact metrics
