INTRODUCTION

Natural Habitat Adventures is seeking an experienced Marketo Operations Consultant with advanced expertise in Marketo to collaborate with our digital marketing team. The selected consultant will be responsible for optimizing marketing automation workflows, enhancing MarTech stack integrations, and maintaining data integrity to ensure smooth system operations. This remote-friendly opportunity is ideal for a technically skilled professional with a passion for streamlining processes and delivering impactful results.

PROJECT OVERVIEW AND SCOPE OF WORK

The selected consultant will be expected to:

Apply Marketo Expertise to:

  • Leverage deep knowledge of Marketo's advanced functionalities to support marketing automation and nurture strategies.
  • Streamline processes, troubleshoot technical issues, and execute a wide range of technical tasks and projects.
  • Provide guidance and hands-on support to maximize platform capabilities.

Engage in Strategic Collaboration by:

  • Partnering with the Director of Digital Marketing to align daily operations with strategic enhancements.
  • Contributing to the development and execution of technical strategies to improve long-term performance.

Focus on System Optimization and Troubleshooting to:

  • Optimize syncing of custom audiences for AdBridge integrations.
  • Assess segmentation and nurture program setups to improve efficiency and engagement.
  • Address technical complications such as race conditions and workflow conflicts.
  • Develop strategies to minimize system bottlenecks and maintain process integrity.
  • Investigate and resolve Munchkin tracking performance issues.

Manage Landing Pages and Webform Data by:

  • Designing responsive, mobile-first landing pages aligned with brand standards.
  • Developing creative solutions for processing webform data using JavaScript, JSON, APIs, and/or webhooks.

Enhance Analytics and Reporting to:

  • Improve campaign tracking, reporting, and KPI visibility within Marketo.
  • Provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.

Oversee Asset Management and Documentation by:

  • Auditing existing Marketo assets and conducting cleanup and archiving.
  • Creating detailed written and visual documentation to support scalability and team-wide knowledge sharing.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal consultant should possess the following:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Marketo with proven success in implementing and optimizing its functionalities.
  • Adobe Marketo Expert- or Master-Level Certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to audit and troubleshoot complex processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing nurture strategies and best practices.
  • Experience in building and editing Marketo assets (landing pages, emails, programs, smart lists, campaigns, and webforms).
  • Competency in HTML and responsive design.
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, APIs, and webhooks.
  • Experience in resolving technical challenges including race conditions and workflow conflicts.
  • Familiarity with Munchkin tracking and associated opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Background in MarTech, marketing automation, or related fields.

 

PROPOSAL SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Interested candidates should provide the following:

Candidate Background

Approach and Methodology

  • Detailed plan for executing the tasks outlined in the scope of work.

Relevant Experience

  • Case studies or examples of past projects with similar scope.

Cost Proposal

  • Detailed pricing breakdown, including hourly rates, project fees, and any other associated costs.
  • Preferred pricing structure (e.g., project-based costing, hourly rates, or a hybrid model).
  • If proposing hourly rates, include details on how hours will be tracked and reported, as well as any applicable minimum or maximum hour commitments.
