Working with the Director of Marketing and Merchandising, and international client teams, the Marketing Production Coordinator will produce global email campaigns and travel web site content and promotions.

The Marketing Production Coordinator will keep multiple projects moving from the briefing stage to production through to final deployment to the end consumer. 

Current client base includes PC Optimum, NHL, Iberostar, Staysure and Travily Vacation Club. 

The role requires someone that is organized, detail-oriented, and brings a great attitude to work every day.  The right candidate is flexible and adapts to change in a rapidly growing company and has a strong aptitude for working in digital tools (email system, content management tools).

The responsibilities include:

Campaign Coordination & Testing:  

  • Prepare email campaigns on behalf of clients delivering creative requirements, preparing feedback and coordinating approvals
    • Prepare content outline for clients aligning with each client’s calendar
    • Write travel newsletter content and coordinate approvals from team and client
    • Set up emails in the email system, send test emails
    • Set final emails for deployment and ensure emails have deployed properly
    • Compile email reports for teams and clients
  • Coordinating monthly promotions:
    • Collaborate with client teams and the Director of Marketing to coordinate monthly on-site promotions
    • Gather the appropriate promotions from the supply team and deliver content for review
    • Coordinate approvals among client, account teams, supply and marketing
    • Upload content using travel CMS system based on timelines
  • Creating and implementing a Campaign Testing Plan to optimize KPIs (opens, clicks, purchases)
    • Analyzing campaigns to provide recommendations
    • Creating and Implementing A/B Tests
    • Revising email templates based on best practices persuading the clients to implement recommendations for best results
  • Assisting the Marketing Director with the creation of the CRM lifecycle journeys in Marketo
  • Creation and coordination of clients’ Merchandising Calendars
  • Assisting with monthly on-site campaigns through briefing, approvals, client sign off and content loading

 

Requirements:

  • Strong aptitude to work with technology (email system/CMS tools) and feels comfortable exploring solutions for greater efficiency
  • Experience building email campaigns and using CMS tools a definite asset
  • Self-starter with an ability to function within a high level of ambiguity, ever-changing environment
  • Comfortable with content creation for marketing collateral including drafting and finalizing content
  • 1 year of experience or multiple co-op placements with relevant experience would be ideal
