We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quality Engineer to join our team responsible for Adobe After Effects. In this role, you will maintain the highest standards of quality in our software by crafting, developing, and completing comprehensive test plans. Your expertise will be essential in delivering a flawless and reliable user experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and carry out comprehensive test plans and test cases for Adobe After Effects.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other team members to understand requirements and design effective testing strategies.
  • Conduct functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to ensure product quality.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
  • Automate test cases to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and alignment to standard processes.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the quality assurance processes and methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our testing practices are innovative.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in quality engineering, preferably with a focus on multimedia software.
  • Strong understanding of software development process (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with Adobe After Effects.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $131,700 -- $245,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
